- The Clean Air Act is a federal law covering the entire country. Under this law, EPA sets limits on how much of a pollutant can be in the air anywhere in the United States.
- The Utah Air Conservation Act (Title 19, Chapter 2 of the Utah Code) empowers the Utah Air Quality Board to enact rules pertaining to Air Quality activities.
