Western Regional Air Partnership (WRAP) inventory for air quality modeling

2002 Emissions inventory in the Intermountain Region developed by the Western Regional Air Partnership (WRAP).

The following graphics show the inventory distributed in 12 kilometer square grid cells. The distribution of these emissions are based on allocation methods developed by the WRAP emissions modelers.

Distribution of other types of emissions vary with the type:

Large industrial sources are placed in the grid cells where they are located
Area sources can be distributed in a variety of ways, one of the most common is by population density
Mobile emissions are placed relative to road networks while emissions from construction equipment might be apportioned according to economic growth factors within each county
