About Air Pollutants: The four pollutants discussed are ozone (O3), carbon monoxide (CO), particulate matter smaller than 10 microns (PM10) and particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5), and sulfur dioxide (SO2). 

Air Quality Monitoring: The Air Monitoring Center is responsible for operating and maintaining an ambient air monitoring network that protects the health and welfare of the citizens of Utah.

Annual Report: The annual report provides a summary of the Division of Air Quality’s actives to protect public health and the environment from the harmful effects of air pollution.

Compliance Activites: Compliance activities are reported to the Utah Air Quality Board on a monthly basis. A summary of monthly compliance activities, including total inspections, compliance actions, settlement agreements, total settlement money collected and company names for compliance advisories and violations is provided for each month.

Current Issues: This page lists the current air quality issues that the Division is addressing.

Nonattainment and Maintenance Area Map: This map shows nonattainment and maintenance areas within the State of Utah.

Public Comment and Hearings: The Division of Air Quality solicits public comment on rules, plans, and operating permits.

Training:The Division of Air Quality provides training for the regulated community.
